As part of PATRAS IQ 2019 the pre-incubator program Re-Startup Patras was completed, it was organized by the University of Patras and POS4work, during which more than 40 young, potential, entrepreneurs presented their ideas, while 17 new startups from the Re-Startup Patras innovation competition participated in the respective stand.
The judges who were representatives of institutions, organizations, start-ups, multinational and also investment Funds (InSymbio Ltd, Orange Grove Patras, Sammy, Marathon VC, Metavallon Hub, PaperGo, National Bank (NBG), Intrasoft International) gave valuable information and comments to groups so as to pursue their ideas.
The teams that stood out and won important awards and services were the following:
- 1st Prize SIBYL- Gym gamification platform
- 2nd Prize DriveProTech – Automobile Integrated Systems for the Driver alcohol consumption
- 3rd Cheeseboost Award – Device for boosting cheese production
The following also qualified:
- NSL – Traffic lights smart systems
- E3cycle – Air filtering Bicycles
- dr1 – Smart delivery systems with drones
The 2nd phase of the “Re-Startup Patras 2019” program has already started.
In this phase, the teams will work for the implementation and development of their prototypes and will claim funding for the establishment of their company.
The pre-incubator “RE-STARTUP” is an initiative of the University of Patras and POS4work to create a stable support structure for innovative entrepreneurship in Patras.
