The Office of Environmental Management of the University of Patras (otherwise known as the GREEN UNIVERSITY) was created in 2012. The office is supported by the Environmental Volunteer Team of the University of Patras or the “Green” volunteers. The primary purpose is to inform and raise awareness of the students, but also the citizens of Patras on basic environmental axes of energy, recycling and waste management. It organizes events to strengthen its goals, workshops, tree planting and beautiful bike rides.
